Due to the current world situation re: COVID-19, we are enacting the following plan to promote the safety of all attending the 6th Annual Cobb International Film Festival:

-  Upon arrival, enter only through the “ENTER” door – there will be a separate Entrance and Exit door for the theater.

-  We ask that those who are in an at-risk, medically fragile condition not attend the festival for their own safety.

-  Each person who enters the facility will have their temperature taken with a “temperature gun” before being allowed to enter the theater.

-  All attendees and facility employees/workers must wear a mask while in the building.

-  We recommend you bring your own, but masks will be provided for those who do not have their own

-  You are welcome to leave and return to the theater throughout the day, but each time you enter the building, you will need to repeat these procedures.

-  Please observe all COVID signage and instructions around the theater.

-  Please observe the “six-foot distance” markings on the floor at all desks, kiosks, etc. at the theater.

-  The main lobby, bathrooms, doorknobs, etc. will be sanitized frequently throughout the day each day.

-  The main theater area will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before film screenings and after the theater is emptied at the end of each day.

-  The main theater will also be cleared for one hour twice each day during the screening schedule to be cleaned and sanitized (see festival schedule for these times)

-  The theater normally seats 600 people.  To assist in maintaining necessary social distancing guidelines for theaters, we will limit attendance to a maximum of approximately 200 people in the theater at any given time (1/3 of the theater’s capacity) – this number can fluctuate depending on the number and sizes of individual groups (for example, if every attendee were an “individual patron”, the number will be significantly smaller to enable each to be 6’ apart.  If every group were six people, the number would be significantly larger since we only require 6’ distance between groups).

-  Groups who arrive together will be able to sit together, but there will be a minimum of 6’ distance maintained between different groups (or individuals who come by themselves).

-  Groups larger than six will be broken up into separate groups no larger than six people.

-  If you have a group attending together, please enter the theater together – anyone who does not enter with you will be seated separately by the ushers.

-  All attendees will be shown to their seat(s) by an usher – this way we can ensure that proper social distancing is maintained in the theater.  Please remind your fans/friends/family who are coming to see your film to arrive early so they will not get caught up in the COVID safety process and miss the beginning of your film

-  We ask that no one leave the theater during films – this will reduce the chance that someone might accidentally move within the 6’ social-distancing “bubble” of another attendee in the dark.  We have scheduled sufficient

-  "Red carpet" photos in front of the Step and Repeat in the lobby will be limited to individuals or groups no larger than six who are attending the festival together.

-  Events that would normally require close-proximity and/or sharing of microphones (such as the normal filmmaker Q&A sessions and our usual after party) will not be held.
